KINGMAN - Mrs. Hallie B. Ephlin, age 79, of Marion, Ind., a former resident of Kingman, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, in the Marion General Hospital. Mrs. Ephlin was born in Parke County and she was a resident of Kingman until 10 years ago when she moved to Marion. She was a member of the Kingman Christian Church and the Kingman American Legion Auxiliary. She was married to Edgar Ephlin, who preceded her in death. Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. William (Irene) Carter of New Castle, Mrs. Walter (Doris) Maxwell of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Herschel (Virginia) Pennick of Marion; preceded in death by her husband, one son, John, and a grandson, Michael. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Kingman Christian Church. The Rev. Larry McMillan officiated and burial was in the Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. The Needham Funeral Home of Marion and the Butler Funeral Home of Rockville had charge of the arrangements. - jlr
